The most important aspect of the financial aid process is the filling out of all the forms and paperwork. If the paperwork isn't filled out or isn't filled out properly, this may disqualify you for financial aid. Luckily, most colleges and universites give free seminars to help you with this process. If you can't attend one of these, they may also help you fill out the forms personally. Simply call the financial aid office at the school. Another option is to hire a scholarship search company to do this task for you. They charge a small fee but may be able to recoup that fee plus find you thousands of dollars more in scholarship and financial aid money.
